Alexandre writes "Hi,

One of my sql2000 SP3 is installed on a windows 2003 cluster.
I try to install a backup software to protect it but I have the following error message :
Failed to configured SQL Server DMSSQ.
The SQL Server [DMSSQL]is not configured as the LOCAL SQL Server, but as a remote SQL Server, svrid [1] in the master..sysservers table.

Can somone tell me how I can change this srvid cell and what kind of impact it could cause to the SQL Server?

Thanks"

I would not change the data in system tables. I would contact the vendor of the backup software to find out what is wrong.
