steve writes "I am running SQL7 on NT4 and I am unable to get SQLServerAgent to start. I am successfully using the same domain account that is an administrator of the server to start the MSSQLServer service. I get "Error2186: The service is not responding to the control function." on the SQLServerAgent service startup.
Nothing in TechNet or BOL. Any suggestions.
