John writes "We are experiencing periodic issues where the SQLAgent shutdown and we have to manually restart it. We also see 17148 event id's in the NT log indicating that someone has shutdown the server but no one has.
What I would like to know is:-
1) Has anyone else had similar issues;
2) Is there anyway we can stop SQL closing immediately but make it require a password to be shutdown?
