Morning all

I came in early this morning to do some testing on an application. I am currently doing some validation checking in a sproc, and wanted to read the results of the SQL Server error log. Low and behold, it is no longer there in the object tree, nor is the folder for the maintenance plans. What has happened and how can I get them back???

You are absolutely right, as when I went to access properties, access is now denied! Greeeeaat! And I am supposed to be (or training to be) the DBA!! Right.......I shall have words with operations!!

ehem, i think you should be the one restricting operations including net admins from making any changes on the sql servers as the DBA not the other way around...
