| I’m running Windows Server 2000. The active directory has around 60 records. It has been running slow for a few months now and takes about 2minutes to open up, then about the same time to open anything else. What can I do to correct this? I was told that the Active Directory needs to be re-indexed but not too sure how to do this, and the websites that I been on do not clearly state the problem that I have. Please can some help!(If you need more info please let me know)CheersNeil |

This is a forum for SQL Server Administration questions, not Active Directory or Windows Server 2003.quote: Originally posted by nil_larwood I’m running Windows Server 2000.
