syed writes "I have setup backup plan of master, module and msdb databases.
When I checked sql server log I found these messages
1)spid54 Bypassing recovery for database 'model4IDR' because it is marked IN LOAD.
2)spid54 Starting up database 'model4IDR'.
3)Recovery is checkpointing database 'model4IDR'.

Why this happen and Can I run this command which I found in Microsoft site article id :272683

RESTORE DATABASE model WITH RECOVERY.

syed,

Are you having an issue with backing up the databases or restoring the databases?

Thanks for taking intrest for this issue. I don't have any problem to backup or recovery.Just for test I made back up of model database and restore as model2 database, they work fine.
Following are the message in sql server logs
1)spid54 Bypassing recovery for database 'model4IDR' because it is marked IN LOAD.
2)spid54 Starting up database 'model4IDR'.
3)Recovery is checkpointing database 'model4IDR'

spid54 Database backed up: Database:master, creation date(time): 2005/08...
Bypassing recovery for database:'master4IDR' because it is marked IN LOAD.
spid54 Starting up database 'master4IDR'
spid54 Recovery is checkpointing datbase 'master4IDR'

Just I got these above messages in sql server logs even database names and mdf and ldf files have there original names.

Best Regards

I have found the same messages in my SQL Server logs. I found that the model4IDR thing is the database created by Veritas BackExec which has the Interlligent Disaster Recovery option. The Veritas backup process will use these databases during backup. You can check whether your system admin colleagues are setting up a Veritas backup job which backups all SQL Server databases through the SQl Server agent.
