| hey all.i am tinkering with setting up replication but at the moment my registered sql name is local :(i want to change this to the actual server name cause replication wont work with name local.is there any way to do this without deleting the registration and reattaching it? |

| check outsp_dropserver,sp_addserverto make life more easy, match the sql server name to the machine nameand don't forget to restart the sql services after changing the name--------------------keeping it simple... |
