Hi,

I run the debbuber on a client machine(XP) - and got this error message"
Server: Msg 504, Level 16, State 1, Procedure sp_sdidebug, Line 1
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Unable to connect to debugger on DISTRIBUTOR (Error = 0x800706ba). Ensure that client-side components, such as SQLDBREG.EXE, are installed and registered on H-D1. Debugging disabled for connection 54.

Any instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Could be 2 things. Could the change since SP3, which requires running sp_idedebug 'legacy_on', or it could be the bug in Windows XP SP2, which has a server side hotfix, which will be included in SQL SP4. Here's a link...
