Dear All,

When I User Maintenance Plan Wizard for log shipping , it is showing an error “ Unable to copy the initialization file to secondary server SERVERNAME”

Details of the problem:
=========================
I try to create log-shipping form my “production server” to “standby server”.

These 2 servers having Windows 2003 and SQL Server 2000 with Service pack 3.

I created a shared folder in 2 Servers with Domain administrator amd local Computer Administrators having full control and login to the Server with Domain administrator account.

Both server SQL Server agent start on domain administrator account.

When I user the Maintenance Plan Wizard, and Click on Finish Button of Maintenance Plan Wizard, “Inilizaton Destination” it is showing a message “ Unable to copy the initialization file to secondary server SERVERNAME”

What I can do to resolve this issue.

Pls advice

Regards
Mathew

You may want to check if you have proper access at the destination folder that you have created by trying to access it from the source server and creating a file on it.
