Author  Topic  alamb200 Starting Member 1 Post Posted - 2005-05-06 : 05:21:56 Hi I have installed MSDE 2000A on my XP pc with the intention of connecting to it using Websense Explorer but whenever I try it fails with error 10061 and sql state 08001 and sql server error 17. I can already connect to my pc from the desired server using Trend Virus checker and Websense logging but I can't get the MSDE working. I have sp2 on my pc but the firewall is turned off. Please can you help
