Hello friend,

I have tried to create a DSN for my Sql Server database. but after creating I have tested it is not successful and also I have tested that from visio, because I need a DSN for my databse to draw data model automatically with visio.

and it is asking me a username and password and ve created a username and password for my databse in 'Enterprise Manager' that is not working.

I think I did't understand how to configure the DSN correctly.

Some one who knows about DSN creation please help me.

I have all options that I know to create a DSN but it is not working , so I have only one more option that is SQL Team.

I hope this option will help to solve my problem.

Well, if you test the DSN on creation and it's not successful, then it won't be successful anywhere. Try to upgrade to the latest MDAC and see if it fixes the situation. Setting up a DSN is fairly straightforward, so you might as well rule this out as an option.
