| On one of my servers, if I set up a new operator, it defaults to an 8 am to 6 pm schedule for Pager on duty schedule. Everything is greyed out, and it won't let me change that default. Essentially, after 6 pm, I do not get paged of a failure. My other servers aren't like this, and I've searched for a place to change this, but can't find it.HELP?Ann |

Hey Ann, have time for lunch tomorrow? I will be free after 12:00am.I'm not sure why it would be grayed out. Have you tried using sp_update_operator though? You can set the start and end times with this as well. sp_help_operator will list the current settings.MeanOldDBAderrickleggett@hotmail.comWhen life gives you a lemon, fire the DBA. |

Yeah, make fun of the girl who was up all night. Nice Derrick Your sp_update_operator did the trick, but I sure would like to know why it's all grayed out. Weird.SQL Server hates me today. Ann |
