2005-05-26 01:55:08.23 spid62 SqlDumpExceptionHandler: Process 62 generated fatal exception c0000005 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION. SQL Server is terminating this process..

* 05/26/05 01:55:08 spid 62

* Exception Address = 0042A86F (RowsetSS::GetColumns + 00000539 Line 0+00000000)
* Exception Code = c0000005 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION
* Access Violation occurred reading address 3DCE4000

when I further investigated we understand that this is resolved in SP3(http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=814572). but this I already have in server.

Can you suggest what can be other reasons?

Manish"

Access violations are typically bugs in SQL Server. Hae you tried service pack 4?
