| Hi all,I am trying to use linked server to connect to remote SQL server by using linked server - windows account authorization.I tried to type in my windows account & password that have access to remote server in Security>Login Mappings, i.e: mydomain\myuser in "remote user" column and the account's password in "remote password" column. I mapped the account to my local sql login. As for connection option, i choosed "Not be made".I have tried several options, but it does not work, the error I got is "access denied, no login mappings exists". May I know can I put domain user name in "remote user" column? Please help.Thanks.HHHH |
