My company just upgraded to a 4-CPU Xeon db server, to fix what we thought was a server load issue. As it turns out we are still having the same problem, which is that our CPUs get pegged at 100%. Our tables are normalized and we've spent a LONG amount of time tweaking our web code to make sure we're not killing the server by accident.
Microsoft supposedly fixed this in SP3, but we're having the same problem.
Any ideas?
