Ok, now that all the hardcore SQL gurus are all frenzied thinking Im stupid enough to say that Access is faster than SQL let me explain my problem.

Ive recently moved from using Access2k to SQL 7 and things took a nosedive speed wise.

Chicagowebs is the host provider and Im sharing the SQL server with a ton of other web hosting users... Im running snitz forums and serving all my dynamic content (banners, news, manifest etc) from it.

Well even using Enterprise Manager via the Cable modem its slow.. Im wondering if the server is not configured properly or there is a limit to the amount of databases that should be reasonably hosted on one box

Well.. Ive been fighting this one on the snitz boards at the following location so please let me know what you think and feel free to check out my site and see for yourself if you agree that the response is slow.
