| We are attempting to put together a master checklist that the DBAs can all operate off of. Essentially, when a new SQL Server is brought into the group, we want to run through this checklist to validate the data, security, hardware, configuration, administrative tasks (Backups, etc.) and use the list on an ongoing basis for routine and long term maintenance.Does anyone have or know of any resources that could help us get the list as complete as possible? I'd be glad to share the list once we have it completed.Thanks.HTH=================================================================The most tyrannical of governments are those which make crimes of opinions, for everyone has an inalienable right to his thoughts. -Baruch Spinoza, philosopher (1632-1677) |
