| I mam not quite sure what you are asking. If you setup a linked server and use the four part server name I believe the the query uses the "SQL Engine" on the SQL Server you are connected to. If you use OPENQUERY I believe the query is processed on the server you are linking to.Sean RoussyPlease backup all of your databases including master, msdb and model on a regular basis.
