I have been charged with building out business intelligence related solutions against survey data gathered from an in-house survey system (stored in SQL2K transactional DB). Having ZERO experience with OLAP, datawarehouses, etc... I'm wondering what some good resources might be for me to use to come up to speed on this area of development. The current plan is to use SQL 2005 ... so I'm looking for resources specific to it, as well as general resources that explain the terminology (e.g. cubes, fact tables, etc...) and best practices.

Any links, book recommendations, etc... would be extremely helpful.

Thanks - wg
