| If i have dedicated application servers with 4gb of RAM. should i be enabling the /3gb switch in the boot.ini... will i see noticeable performance gains from this?does anyone know the exact syntax for the switch? and do i have to reboot afterwards?looking at the advanced options sql server is only configured to use 2048 of memory, does this mean that you can access 3gb with the /3gb switch and anymore after that you after enable AWE memory settings?i am running 2000 enterprise edition on 2000/2003 advanced server |
