I've noticed that the SP's that are executing as FOR XML always trigger the SP:CachMiss event in profiler. Anyone else notice this?

how are you referencing the sproc? do you owner qualify it (prefaced with dbo), or do you call it by just it's name?

Funny you should say that. I had noticed that every proc in the system was cache missing and causing some blocking. The dbo fix was just put in and these are left over procs. There are 3 of them that I could see that are still cache missing when called and each of those are "select x from y blah blah blah FOR XML"
