I published the instance using both the GUI, then removed it, then tried T-SQL. Each attempt indicated that the action had been performed successfully, but I was not able to see any SQL Server container in AD under Computers within the domain that the server was in, and after running a VBScript to query AD for any such published instances, it returned nothing. I also tried using ADSI Edit.Any ideas as to what my be happening? Thanks in advance to anyone that can be of help." |
