| There is some question in my company as to whether we need to continue rebooting our SQL Server 2000 machines once a week as part of regular maintenance. Most of them run on Windows 2003, some on Windows 2000. Any opinions or suggestions either way would be appreciated. |

| there is no reason to do this except for software installs and patches that require it. if your machine is getting constipated it is better to address the cause.ever rebbot a machine and have it not turn back on? you get a little quesy when this happens.====================================================Regards,Sean Roussy"pimpin ain't easy, but someone has to do it" -- Pimpin Whitefolks(?) |
