| I am running Windows XP Pro SP2. I try to install anything and I get the message "Error 1943. User installations are disabled via policy on the machine." Here's where the insanity begins. I have two user policies. Library Admin and Administrator. The Library Admin account is under the Administrator group. I have unrestricted all the policies in the LIbrary Admin account so that shouldn't be the problem. When I boot up in safe mode, I can log into the Administrator account but, for whatever reason, I am unable to modify the group policies (even though I'm logged on as the Administrator). Is there any hope for me? |
