So, I downloaded and installed SQL Server 2005 Express, and I just can't figure out how to get it to do anything.I'm accustomed to SQL Server 2000, and I don't see anything familiar.Where's Query Analyzer? Where's Enterprise Manager? All I see is this "Configuration Manager" stuff, which doesn't seem particularly useful. How am I supposed to use this software? I feel like they could have tried a little harder on this one. |

download also the management studio express. This looks like the enterprise manager but i notice its more like the access when i created table and its column.i cannot however connect to my database, always with an error in my asp ... not a trusted connection.. |

my guess is that sql is using Windows Authentication and you are trying to connect using sql login. In the management studio, select the db server-> properties and change the settings to accept both sql and windows or in your asp use windows authentication.ThanksKarunakaran |
