Hi, I'm new to the forum and also to SQL Server.
Has anybody implemented SharePoint Windows Services on top of SQL Express? I'm trying just that, but i'm encountering some problems when trying to enable Full-Text search. The configuration page for this option says that the database i'm running on does not support full-text search.
Thanks in advance,

Ulises

SQL Express doesn't support full-text indexing. You will have to get a copy of standard or enterprise edition.

Heres a link that shows what is in each version.

Damned, I could have sworn it had this capability... Guess we'll have to live without it.
Thanks Dustin

You can now get full-text search with SQL Server 2005 Express.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/sql/download/

It comes as part of the "SQL Server 2005 Express Edition with Advanced Services SP2" package.
