| I'm a novice and DTS and have never written an ActiveX script. I'm creating a DTS to pick up an Excel file and load it to SQL. I need to remove the 1st 8 records of the Excel file prior to the transform data task.Thanks! |

| Hmm...That's what I thought, I have a transform data task and on the Options tab I have "first row" set to 8 and it's not working, in the transformtions tab it's not looking at the correct row, it's looking at row 1. Am I using the wrong task? TIA! |
