I'm running sql server 7.0 w/sp3 (which is located at our local office) and the exchange is exchange 2000(located at our isp providers, which our op's people manage from here)

I'm having a bit of problem with something here at work. I have installed sql mail (and all the account stuff relative to this) exactly as microsoft lists. I had it working fine. The screwy thing with it was that you had to have be logged into the machine as sqladmin, and have outlook open. it works....The op's people here think that this is bullshit...(Ego's...what can i tell ya) and they want me to find a work around for this...(i'm lucky i found what i did to get it working in the first place...=)

do you know of any work around to use the sqlmail functions and not have to be logged into the machine w/the sqladmin account, and have the outlook account open at the same time?

ANY help or point of direction would be graciously appreciated.

Thanks and keep up the good work...

If you guys can figure this one out, you'll be my new hero...
