Yesterday as we were loading some data the server went head over heels. When it
came back up one of my databases (26 GB) was marked as recovering. NO problem I
thought. Until I looked a little later after giving it enough time to recover

2001-06-11 15:12:55.30 spid8 Database 'GFAS_MIS' (database ID 8) could not
recover. Contact Technical Support. This is after a series of stack dump messages
The database went to suspect status.
The business wanted the database back quickly so I had a disk backup and kicked
that off. Local Disk to Local Server executed on the local machine. After 12
hours I only have 65% completed. This server has beencrapping out every day for
the people who use it as an FTP dropzone.

Any ideas?

Rick
