Eli writes "I issued a BACKUP DATABASE myDb to disk = 'file.bak' WITH DIFFERENTIAL statement
I don't know but from a reason not clear to me the BACKUP statement causes the database log file to increase in size to severel GigaBytes and that filled the disk and the whole backup command failed!
why does the differential backup enlarge the log file in such manner and how can I avoid it ?" |
