Since the upgrade from SQL 7 to SQL 2000 I've reinstalled MDAC 2.6 and Jet 4.0 with no success in getting the DTS import/export wizard to bring up the text data source. In fact the only data sources available are the ODBC drivers. Nothing else is available. I've checked for errorlogs but the upgrade was concidered successful. At this point I've come to the decision that I need to either rebuild the registry or uninstall then reinstall SQL 2000. Does anyone have any particular insight into the rebuild to tell me if that is the better option. Also if someone can tell me other things to do before doing the above actions I'd appreciate that also. I have 20 databases on this server and it is our warehouse. So we do need the DTS functionality. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. If further information is needed please send me email at debrunkle@earthlink.net

thanks
