| I have a product table on the Web database in which I need to update inventory count every hour from another database used for accounting. In order to update the entire table I need to disable some triggers, otherwise the update will take 10 min instead of 20 secs.I also have a couple of users (data entry) updating the web product table constantly. I would like to lock them out for the time while inventory count is being updated and the triggers are being disabled. What's the best way to do that?helena |
