Let me start out by saying that we have a two Server CRM \ Reporting Services deployment model. CRM and Reporting Services and IIS are on one Server and our SQL Server 2000 Backend Databases are on another Server.

I am attempting to get Exchange Reporting up and running and I am having a hell of a time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I followed the instructions that came with the MS Exchange Pack download which were basically the following:

*Install the report pack from the Exchange.msi file (Included in the install is a sample Database and the report files)
*Attach the Sample Database to your CRM Instance
*Create a new Shared Datasource in the CRM Report Server pointing to the sample database
*Create a new Folder in the CRM Report Server
*I then used Report Designer in Visual Studio 2003.net to upload the Reports.

Now when I go to my Report Server http:\\crmserver\reports I see all the sample reports under the new folder I created and they are all using the new shared datasource that I created to point to the sample database - everthing looks good!!!

When I try to view a report, I get this error:

An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) Get Online Help

Cannot create a connection to data source 'SSW Exchange Reporter'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection) Get Online Help
SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
I have checked all of my SQL Server Permissions and when I test the datasource is is working properly.. I have run out of ideas on how to fix this.. I don't know if it because of our two Server deployment model or what!!!?????? can anyone help????????

I'm assuming that I can create a connection from Reporting Services and use the reports from the Exchange report Pack to report on our Production Exchange Server.. Does anyone know how to do this????
