Hi, a question that s been bothering me for a while. Is it true that we have to start as an application support or technical support agent before we can become a programmer or is that a fairy tale?I am new to this and I want to know the truth not what managers are trying to convince me.Thank you for your advice |

Yeah, me either. We needed some manual stuff automated at work one day and that started the ball rolling for me. While I do reccomend that doing tech support is a great way to learn an app, it's not entirely necessary. We usually put new people on supporting & researching bugs because they learn a lot crawling around the guts of the app. But they do some development as well.Mike"oh, that monkey is going to pay" |
