| Sounds like you have installed the client i.e. just the database connectivity and utilities not the server.So you won't have sql server on your laptop but need to connect to a remote machine.To have sql server you need to install the server (adtabase engine) rather than the client.You can install experss or developer editions probably.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.DTS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |
