| Thanks Chriag and Kh.Chirag,Microsoft says that, If I download SQL server management studio express, I won't be able to manage SQL Server Analysis Services, Integration Services, Notification Services, Reporting Services, SQL Server Agent, or SQL Server 2005 Mobile Edition. How can I do this for a remote server then?KH,I think SQL native client is set of liberaries for SQL OLE DB provider and SQL ODBC driver and does not have any interface. Please let me know if I am wrong.ThanksSachinDon't sit back because of failure. What ver of SQl 2005 are you using ? If you are using standard or enterprise, the SSMS comes with the CD. Just install that. KH |

i don't think you can use SSMS express to manage SS2005. Why not install the one from the SS2005 Developer Edition CD ?Yes. You do need to configure Surface Area to allow remote connection. KH |
