| Hi,Just want to know what I need to check to make sure the remote connection is configure properly other than "Enable the remote connection" for the server? what ports that need to open up if firewall is running on the Server Machine?I tested with a remote user, it seems the application just hung there and wait.. wait.. it seems something block the connection.No error message, If I ping from the remote PC to the server, the response time is in acceptable range.Thanks! |

check the port no from the SQL Server Configuration ManagerSQL Server 2005 Network Configuration - TCP/IP - IP Addresses
