| i want to be able to create a login to my database that cannot access the whole db but only certain tables.how do i do this in sql 2005? |

| As per other post http://www.sqlteam.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=79057 :Create a Role, Grant appropriate permissions to the tables you want them to have access to (or DENY access to the ones they cannot access) then Grant that Role to the relevant users/loginsKristen |
