| I created a operator first, then set up email notifiction if a job is failed. When the job fails, It did not send a message to the operator. Please let me know how you set up this. The following is what I did.1. Create an operator--Go to SSMS SWL Server Agent--Right click "operator", select "new operator" Name: jsmith (v)enabled E-mail name: jsmith@ediscount.com--Click "ok"2. Set up email notifiction--Go to SSMS SWL Server Agent--Double click on the job, then select "notification" Check (v) E-mail: jsmith When the job fails--Click "ok" |

| Did you setup Database Mail yet?Are you able to send a test e-mail to the operator from the Operator screen?Tara Kizer |
