| daniel writes "I made a backup of my sql 2000 file (.bak) When I try and restore it I get the following error: System.Data.SqlClent.SqlError: Directory lookup for the file "d:\sql\web.mdf" failed. The system cannot find the file specified.Whats strange is shouldn't a .bak file not need an mdf file??? my db is sql 2000 but i am trying to restore it to sql server 2005. Could that be why? I would think microsoft would allow previous versions to be restored to new version. Please help!" |
