| this is just temporary, I know I can disable it after the task have been done but I see some potentials...i have a server with linkedservers and i'd like to take advantage of the sps and fns in each linkedservers\dbs... usually it's dynamic sqlrecently, i've needed to run an sproc and found out that rpc is required...question is, is rpc really that bad that I should not enable it on the linked servers permanently? what are the things I need to look into if i enable this? the server involved is pretty much secured from outside intrusion (only used internally)...any thoughts appreciated!--------------------keeping it simple... |
