| Kristen, I think you could be right. I did not have to set the /pae settings in Boot.ini for the sql server to use 8 GB RAM just the check box for AWE was enough. In the setup instructions it did not tell me to modify the boot.ini file. I had to restart the entire server if I do remember it right. |
