Hi,
Does anyone know why I can not create data connection?
It says that SQL server does allow remote connection, everything was looking ok when I was installing it..

Thank you,

what is the "exact" error message being seen?

it might indicate a "permissions" issue.
can both servers "ping" each other?

Assuming that your server "allows remote connections", you may want to try creating and alias for that server using the SQL Configuration tool. It has never failed me.
If you are unclear, what this means, write back asap.
