Just spotted that some cowboys install a Live DB Server using Local System Account for the SQL Server Service.
Gonna change it to a Domain Admin Account tonight.
Anyone got any advice or warnings about any "gotchas" I might run in to during a job like this?

Ensure that domain account is valid sql login.

Interestingly, after doing this, I tried to run SS SP2 and it still failed.

for those of you who are interested, this is also worth checking:
Does sql service account has following user rights on the server?

Act as part of the operating system
Increase quotas
Log on as a batch job
Log on as a service
Replace a process level token
Bypass traverse checking (that is usually set for Everyone anyway)
Lock pages in memory
access this computer from the network
backup files
restore files
increase scheduling priority
load & unload device drivers

Setup assigns those user rights during installation. In sql2k, those user rights are assigned if you change service account in em. But in sql2k5, ...
