| Hi,One of our db size is 700MB and I don't why the transaction log file is three times bigger which is 2200MB, Does the log file and it grow everyday by 5 percent (it is what setting now).I think the actual data is in the MDF file not the LDF file, can I delete the LOG file and start again. or how to make it smaller? or any way to don't let it keep growing growing everyday? Thanks! |

| If the db is not in simple recovery model, you have to backup log periodically to keep log file in reasonable size. |
