| I am looking to execute my 2000 DTS packages in the 2005 environment. I have installed DTS Designer on my SQL Server 2005 instance and have saved a number of my SQL 2000 packages as structured storage files with .dts extensions. When I go to 2005 management, legacy, data transformation services and try to right click to open the packages, I get the package error button: 'The DTS host failed to load or save the package properly.'I did not get an error on the 2000 save as side. What does the 2005 error mean? How can I correct the situation? |
