you can use xp_cmdshell and use command line commands to add folders.

I think there is some confusion here
I meant the Folders that we see in the object explorer pane of SSMS
Is there any way we can add remove folders from that

If you know "for definite" that this is possible, shouldn't you also know how to do it, or at least know someone who does?

This already exists. Under a database you can choose

Security -> Schemas

And it will list all the schemas.

it wasn't dumb. extensibility of SSMS would be great to have. unfortunately extending OE like this is not supported by MS.

There used to be an article on codeproject about doing it via some hacks, but it looks like it's been removed.
