I would like to hear from anyone who went through an upgrade of SQL Server 7 to SQL Server 2000 with user databases that were non-trivial in size.How large are your databases? How long did it take you to upgrade to 2000 from SQL 7? What OS are you using? How would you say the upgrade went overall? What happened that you did not expect? What would you do differently that you did not do when you upgraded? General advice and wisdom? Any question(s) I didn't ask but should have and the answer to it?" |
