| Hi, Am having a local SQL EXPRESS SERVER which was working fine but when i tried to open a new query window its throwing an error given below A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.) Techinal Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: A connection was successfully established with the server, but then an error occurred during the login process. (provider: Shared Memory Provider, error: 0 - No process is on the other end of the pipe.) But its get solved after sometime and again repeating later. Please help me RKNAIR |

| Try connect with other protocols like named pipes or tcp/ip. |

| Hi, I have tried named pipes,tcp ip and both but stillthe problem persist..But if i disconnect and again connect to server the issue wil not be there for couple of minutes..RKNAIR |

| Did you apply any sql2k5 sp? Does client machine have same sp as on server? |
