| I'm trying to set up a linked server with Oracle using the OLEDB provider for Oracle. In BOL, it talkes about creating an SQL*Net alias and to see the Oracle documentation to do this. I don't have any documentation to look this up.What I do have is a the Oracle SQL*Net client application with a successful connection to the database. Is the alias what is in the TNSNAMES file?Anybody give me a few pointers? |
